Work carried out by Cureheat - We removed the existing wooden surround and cast insert. We removed the old black tiled hearth and installed a low profile natural slate tile hearth. The existing bricks hiding behind the cast were cleaned up and cement board installed to frame the brick work. We installed a new flue liner and insulated the chimney and installed a direct air kit for maximum efficiency.
